P.E.O. House Concert Fundraisers
A simple, meaningful way to raise $1,000+ for your chapter
I’m Erin Ash Sullivan, a songwriter, touring artist, and proud member of P.E.O. Chapter AO in Massachusetts. Over the past year, I’ve been partnering with P.E.O. chapters across the country to host intimate house concert-style fundraisers that are as joyful as they are effective.

All the Details
How it works
Hosting a fundraiser concert is easy and customizable!
- You provide the space: a living room, community room, church hall, or local arts venue all work beautifully.
- We set a simple suggested donation, typically $20 per person, your chapter keeps $10 per donation (or we can customize the split if you prefer).
- I bring the music and storytelling…and that’s it! A shared evening of music and community, all to support P.E.O. programs.
Why it’s a great option for your chapter
- Effective fundraising: My home chapter raised over $1,000 in one night. Other chapters have seen similar results.
- Minimal preparation: All you need is a space and a way to invite people. I can provide simple promotional materials if helpful.
- A meaningful sisterhood experience: These evenings consistently become favorite chapter events – a great opportunity to bring the chapter together and include members of the greater community
The Experience
I describe my music as “story-driven folk” that is upbeat and focused on warmth and connection.
My idols are musicians like John Prine, Lori McKenna, Patty Grriffin, and like them I try to craft songs that highlight resilience, connection, and the moments that shape us.
My latest album, Signposts and Marks, reached #4 on the Folk DJ Chart, and I’ve performed at festivals, listening rooms, and coffeehouses across the country. But P.E.O. events are my favorite. There’s something special that happens when a room full of people leans in together to listen.
What you can expect
I’ll present a 75–90 minute concert (with flexibility for your schedule) – a warm, engaging, story-rich performance, with professional sound scaled to your space.
Is this right for your chapter?
This format works especially well if you’re looking for:
- A low-lift fundraiser
- A fresh alternative to traditional events
- A way to bring your community together
- An experience that aligns with P.E.O.’s values of education, support, and connection

FAQ
Most chapters raise $800–$1,200 in a single evening, depending on attendance and suggestion donation. My home chapter raised over $1,000, and others have seen similar results with very simple setups.
Very little. Typically, you’ll:
- Secure a space (home, church, community room, etc.)
- Invite your members and local community (I can provide ready-to-use promotional materials to make outreach easy)
- Handle seat reservations and donation collection (or I can help suggest simple tools)
These concerts are designed to be flexible and intimate, and almost any space will work! Anywhere that can comfortably seat 25–75 people works well, whether it’s a living room, clubhouse or community room, a church hall, or a small arts venue.
Typically 75–90 minutes, with flexibility to include an intermission if you’d like. Some chapters have provide baked goods at the intermission and have found this to be an additional fundraising opportunity!
Yes. If needed I can arrange for a sound setup for the room, whether it’s a living room or a larger community space.
Absolutely. The standard model is $20/person with $10 going to your chapter, but we can customize the plan to fit your goals.
While I love working within the P.E.O. sisterhood, this format works beautifully for other community groups, nonprofits, and organizations as well.
It’s simple, personal – and, most importantly, fun! Together we’ll be creating an experience that brings people together while supporting your mission.
Ideally 6–12 weeks, but I can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines depending on my touring schedule.
